We are a business with a mission: to increase employment for people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or with other barriers to work, while minimising the environmental impact of our clients’ print operations.

Over 4,500 hours work created for people with barriers to work

Over 400 tonnes of carbon dioxide removed from our clients’ supply chains

Office Odyssey set out to build a new kind of MPS provider that places sustainability and social value at the heart of the business;  to operate as a social enterprise and to only sell low energy, low waste technology.

We are delighted to have been able to create jobs for talented people who had been out of work for ten or fifteen years.

As part of our social mission we are also committed to providing free hardware and lifetime support and supplies to small charities, social enterprises and special needs schools. Our aim is to help them to free up money that is spent on print so that it can be re-allocated to their vital projects and services.

We are Living Wage and Disability Confident employer providing meaningful work for people with barriers to employment.

Office Odyssey has been really great for us. They were very generous and supplied us with a really reliable Epson printer/copier. Their customer service is outstanding – they were always very responsive and flexible. I think that over the course of last 3 years we must have saved a significant amount of money that we are able to spend elsewhere into developing our programme for people with learning disabilities and autism. I would recommend Office Odyssey for any charity or social enterprise.

Just 16% of adults diagnosed with autism are in full time employment. We are working to address this inequality and to transform lives.

When is a printer not just a printer? Paul and Hayley Bellew from Office Odyssey Social Enterprise kindly donated a printer to BOSP so we could continue to print children's meds and support plans for our respite sessions. As well as coming to our rescue, they're a leading supplier of sustainable printers and copiers, putting their profits towards their social mission of improving work opportunities for young people with learning disabilities.

We provide free products, consumables and support to community groups and charities, helping them to shift expenditure from print to projects and services

Office Odyssey have been a major part of my project, firstly because my company is print based but also because of the Epson EcoTank machine supplied, it’s incredible! The Epson EcoTank makes our project more affordable and it will enable me to reach more of those in need. Office Odyssey really have enabled me to get off the ground without the costs of an expensive initial printer and print costs.

We only supply low energy, low carbon technology. Every customer we win cuts the carbon footprint of their print fleet. The average reduction for our clients is 86%

As well as supporting the work of Café Track financially, Office Odyssey have also helped to create a range of opportunities for individuals to access employment. We look forward to continuing working together and making a real difference to the world around us.

While our products cut CO² we also offset our clients’ paper use with Print ReLeaf included as standard, further reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Impact Case Studies

I am diagnosed autistic and am personally familiar with mental health issues. As such, working with the social enterprise Office Odyssey has been transformational.

I had been unemployed after a previous career in science and academia as a postdoctoral researcher and, apart from a couple of damaging attempts at employment in IT, this remained the situation until 2021 when I began working from home with Office Odyssey. I have been looking after our printer fleet numbering over one thousand units, requiring the careful maintenance of databases and spreadsheets. This suits me well and uses my existing skills.

In addition I have had a number of days in the warehouse which, being occasional, make a refreshing change and are good for my mental health. Office Odyssey have made this very easy for me, providing transport and taking into account my needs as an autistic person to the maximum possible. I strongly believe that social enterprises are vital in providing employment to those such as me who otherwise may have languished in unemployed for the duration. This is why I can describe my job with Office Odyssey as transformational.

Our sixth form are so grateful for the Epson photocopier we were kindly given, it has made a massive difference to their enterprise projects, and we have had great fun making various items from stickers to cards. The team are friendly, great with the learners and continually helpful. Thank you so much!
