WWF-UK was founded on 23 November 1961 by a group of distinguished scientists, conservationists and businessmen that included Sir Peter Scott and Sir Julian Huxley. WWF is the world's largest conservation organisation, with over five million supporters worldwide, working in more than 100 countries and supporting around 3,000 conservation and environmental projects. They have invested over $1 billion in more than 12,000 conservation initiatives since 1995.
WWF aims to "stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature."
When reviewing their print estate, the environment was at the forefront of WWF’s requirements. Epson products were by far the most sustainable option the market had available and met or exceeded other requirements for speed and productivity. Office Odyssey’s experience in delivering similar projects in the same locations as WWF’s offices made the choice and easy one for WWF UK.
The products installed include the Epson AM-C5000 and Epson WF-C879R.
